Description

KEY FACTS

  • This Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is a desirable air-cooled modern classic four-wheel-drive convertible sports car, combining the handsome styling of the 964-generation with open-top enjoyment and analogue driver engagement.
  • It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
  • This UK-market model was first registered in August 1990, and has been under the current ownership for seven years.
  • The odometer indicates 95,704 miles, which the seller believes to be the genuine total.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

  • This 964-era 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is finished in a stylish shade of black with a matching soft-top roof, over a black leather-trimmed interior.
  • It rides on a set of 17-inch ‘Cup’ alloy wheels, framing Porsche-branded brake callipers, fitted with mixed Goodyear tyres.
  • Equipment includes a rear aeroblade spoiler with an integrated third brake light, electrically adjustable front seats, electric windows, heater and ventilation controls, a Porsche CR-1 cassette stereo, an electrically operated rear spoiler, and a locking rear differential.
  • This example is fitted with a Clubsport steering wheel.
  • Accompanying the sale are the stamped service book, a space-saver spare wheel, the tool roll, the owner’s manuals in a black leather wallet, the V5C, and numerous invoices and receipts.
  • One ignition key is included.

CONDITION

  • Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
  • Specific notes from the seller include: the car is understood to have received prior paintwork to the doors and rear quarter panels before the current ownership, though the seller notes this was completed to a good standard. There is a small blemish on the passenger-side rear quarter panel, and general wear to the interior trim consistent with the vehicle’s age and mileage.
  • The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 20 November 2025 at an indicated 95,611 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

  • This 911’s most recent maintenance was carried out in September 2024 at 95,069 miles by Auto Renovate of Felixstowe, consisting of a comprehensive engine-out service and maintenance programme.
  • The work completed included the replacement of the battery, bonnet and boot gas struts, distributor caps and rotor arms, front anti-roll bar drop link, indicator repeater bulb, and various undertray fixings and clips, as well as wiring harness connector repairs, and refurbishment work to engine bay tins, heat shields, and brackets affected by corrosion.
  • The engine was removed to investigate and rectify oil leaks, with new seals fitted to all four valve covers, replacement fixings and gaskets installed where required, and the oil thermostat mount addressed due to corrosion and leakage.
  • Additional work included sealing a corroded wheel rim causing a slow puncture, repositioning the oil return pipe, fabricating a new alternator capacitor bracket, and washing down the engine and heat tins following the completion of the repairs.
  • Advisory notes from the service invoice state that the offside rear lower engine cover is porous and had been sealed using adhesive, there is slight corrosion to both rear brake pipe ferrules, the offside rear inner suspension arm bush is beginning to crack/perish, rear brake pads measured approximately 5mm remaining, and wheel arch liners and the lower rear-section engine cover were noted as missing.
  • Other notable maintenance includes a new starter motor and passenger door switch being installed in April 2026 at an indicated 95,699 miles.
