Description

  • First registered on 28/08/1952, this example is understood to have had just three keepers from new, including 40 years with its first owner, followed by long-term second ownership and current family ownership since 2019
  • Presented in Bronze Green with a light Tan canvas hood and green vinyl seating, maintaining a period-correct and understated appearance
  • Restored during the early 2000s by its second keeper, with works including replacement of the floors and seat squabs, with the remainder of the vehicle refurbished and used sparingly since
  • Retains a dashboard badge from the original supplying dealer, Mann Egerton, adding to its provenance
  • Accompanied by a small history file including restoration parts invoices, a few old MOT Certificates and period photographs documenting works including floor replacement supplied with its original key
  • More recent maintenance includes a new radiator, fuel system overhaul and a full service, with less than 300 miles covered since
  • Supplied with its original key, its original owners instruction manual and a workshop manual
  • We encourage your inspection of this early Land Rover Series I at our Classic Sale
