The Appeal

There are classic Mustangs and then there are classic Mustangs. Of course, we love them all, but some we love more than others. Like this 1966 one, which ticks several of our wish list boxes, such as a notchback hard top, A Code 4.7L 289CI V8, and a ‘four on the floor’ manual gearbox.

Then there is the condition. The result of an extensive bare-metal restoration by the current keeper since he acquired the car in 2019, it is now beautifully finished in stand-out red with matching interior. It is the kind of car that will draw attention like a magnet at shows.

The vendor is only selling because another project has come along to tempt him. Looking at the photos, we can see why this would be a reluctant sell. Here is a chance to buy an early Mustang with desirable specification in truly great condition. One to savour and enjoy.

The vendor says:

“Only selling because of a new project, I was going to keep it no intention to sell until the new buy.”

✓ The seller is registered as a private seller which means consumer rights stemming from EU consumer protection law do not come into effect. However, you are still covered by Car & Classic’s own Terms and Conditions..
