The Appeal

As successful as the original Mini was, Alec Issigonis' landmark design seemed somewhat old-fashioned by the late 1960s. This prompted British Leyland to update the car's styling and introducing the Clubman in 1969. Equipped with the range-topping 1,275cc version of the inimitable A Series engine, the Clubman 1275 GT was highly succesful in refreshing the Mini's image, allowing the model to endure.
This 1979 example is a great survivor from the celebrated Clubman 1275 GT lineage. Finished in the desirable period hue of Pageant Blue and sitting upon a smart set of Minilite-type alloy wheels. The vendor notes that the car comes with a good history file, showing recent investment, and they remark that it drives very well indeed.
These are such versatile cars; this Clubman would be wonderful for local jaunts, club meets or even hill climb and rally events.
MOT and road tax exempt and ready to go, we're sure you'll agree this is a great little car.
