The Appeal

In the late 1980s, the ever-endearing Mini was going through a massive revival, particularly in Japanese markets. There had already been plenty of Mini Cabriolets, converted by a gaggle of companies, but it was Lamm Autohaus that offered the best of it. After a quick trial run, Rover contracted the German coachbuilders to enter production with the first authorised Mini Cabrio.
Reinforced by the distinctive secondary sills, these desirable cars have a wide-sided stance and offer all of the fun of the Mini with the wind in your hair. Naturally, out of any Mini convertible out there, these are the ones to get.

This 1994 example in blue shows 48,000 miles and is reportedly running well, ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
