The Appeal
The Mini Cooper Sport marked the end of an era - the final chapter for one of the most beloved and recognisable cars in motoring history. With its 1,275cc engine, sports-tuned suspension, and distinctive styling cues, the Cooper Sport was a fitting farewell to the original Mini and has become increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This 2000 example in Tahiti Blue with a Grey/Silver roof has been in the current owner's care since 2010, having been purchased from a specialist Mini dealer. It has been nearly always garaged during that time and has benefited from extensive bodywork in 2021/22, with the rear subframe also replaced in 2017. All work is documented in an accompanying folder, and the original service manual covers the first nine services.
The vendor reports that the car starts well, runs correctly, and drives very well, with very good road handling and a great feeling of speed, and is now ready and raring to go with its lucky new owner.
