The Appeal
The end of Mini production wasn't a whimper. It came with a bang - Rover's final, most evolved iteration of the legendary little city car. The MPI brought in, as you'd expect, multi-point fuel injection without sullying the car's iconic, anachronistic silhouette. The result was an even more eager little machine that got the very most it could out of the 1,275cc A-Series under the bonnet.
This 1999 example has passed through just four registered keepers and has been in the current owner's care for five years, during which time it has been conscientiously dry stored over the winter months. Recent mechanical attention and a number of new components have been fitted, and the car comes with a fresh MOT to boot, valid until September 2027.
Accompanied by a strong paperwork file going back to 2014, this Mini Cooper MPI is a particularly handsome car that's ready for its lucky new keeper.
