The Appeal
Malcolm Sayers' bold follow-up to the legendary E-Type, the XJ-S, powered by Jaguar's silky 5.3-litre V12, is one of the great British grand tourers. This was a car purpose-built for effortless, long-distance cruising, designed to be comfortable, quiet, and luxurious in equal measure. Few engines offer the refinement and character of Jaguar's V12, and in open-top form, this is a car that rewards its driver on every journey.
This example has been in the care of a fastidious Jaguar Club member for the past 14 years. During that time, it has been maintained by its knowledgeable owner, with regular oil changes carried out and relatively few miles added. The vendor describes it as a lovely, effortlessly smooth and powerful sports car, and reports that it starts, runs, and drives really well. With an MOT valid until April 2027, this V12 convertible is ready for its next custodian.
