Specification

Supplied new by Mercedes-Benz main agents, Lancaster Bow Ltd of London, and first registered on 01/05/1996, this UK-market SL320 was factory-finished in elegant Green Black Metallic with a contrasting Beige leather interior
Remarkably, it has been in its current registered ownership since 2005 and shows just two former registered keepers, with 101,548 miles indicated at the time of cataloguing
Recently benefiting from a full repaint by specialists NARCO of Brentford, refreshing its handsome Bruno Sacco-designed bodywork whilst retaining its particularly attractive original factory colour combination
Powered by Mercedes-Benz' smooth 3.2-litre DOHC straight-six producing around 220bhp and driving through an automatic transmission, the R129 remains one of the marque's most accomplished and usable modern classics
Accompanied by its original book pack including a well-stamped service book containing 15 entries, the most recent recorded at 100,582 miles, together with numerous invoices and previous MOT Certificates documenting its maintenance
Offered complete with its desirable body-coloured factory hardtop. Having previously spent around six years in dry storage, the hood is noted as inoperative, believed at the time to potentially relate to a window control module, although this is not confirmed
