The Appeal

The Ford Anglia 1200 Deluxe Estate was a practical and supremely rare variant of Ford's popular compact car of the 1960s. These were affordable family cars in their day; most were worked hard and not exactly cherished, meaning survivors are extremely few and far between today.
Here we have an immensely smart 1966 example which stands out for its recent sympathetic restoration, comprehensive history file, and careful storage that has helped preserve its condition over the years.
The vendor says:
"The car is on the button (electronic ignition has been fitted) and drives spot on; the engine has had its service and its been put in the air to be WaxOyled (I have photos of the underneath prior to me WaxOyling it) it is solid with no rot and no rust (no rust or rot prior to restoration) and does not require any attention. This really is an outstanding, super-rare, usable classic."
