Description
KEY FACTS
- This 991-generation Porsche 911 Speedster is a timelessly specified example of the rare open-top supercar, which is noted to have originally been used as a press car.
- It is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six, delivering 503bhp and 347lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a slick six-speed manual transmission.
- The 911 Speedster will reach 60mph in just 3.9 seconds before continuing onwards to a claimed top speed of 192mph.
- In total, 1,948 Speedsters were built, and this car is number 305 in that limited run.
- First registered in September 2019, this example was acquired by the seller in September 2025.
- The odometer shows just 7,680 miles from new.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
- The 991-generation 911 Speedster is powered by a tuned version of the 991.2 911 GT3’s 4.0-litre flat-six engine, and it also shares the GT3’s suspension dampers, which have been softened slightly for a more compliant ride. It also shares the model’s all-wheel steer system, which has been recalibrated to work with the car’s sleeker and more aerodynamic rear end.
- Featuring the rear bodyshell of a Carrera 4S Cabriolet coupled with the front end of a 911 GT3, the Speedster is fitted with the carbon-fibre front wings and bonnet from the 911 R, the rear apron from the GT3 Touring, and an all-new carbon-fibre rear deck.
- This example is finished in Guards Red, over a black leather-trimmed cabin, offset by red stitching including ‘Speedster’ headrest embroidery, as well as red seatbelts and door pulls.
- It rides on black 20-inch twin five-spoke centre-locking alloys with red outer stripes and colourless Porsche-crest centre caps, framing yellow Porsche-branded callipers over Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake discs, and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
- Equipment includes cruise control, the auto blip system, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), switchable stability and traction control settings, a deployable rear spoiler, the front axle lift system, a switchable sports exhaust, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable seats, and the Bose audio system.
- The car will be supplied with its owner’s manuals in a black leather wallet, the service booklet, two keys, and a selection of maintenance invoices and MOT certificates.
CONDITION
- Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
- Specific notes from the seller include: the steering wheel is a little bit shiny, and there are one or two scratches in the leather on the steering wheel.
- The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 22 July 2026 at 7,682 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass.
SERVICE HISTORY
- This 911 Speedster’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in September 2025 at 7,380 miles by Porsche Centre Chester, which consisted of an engine oil change, an inspection, and the brake fluid being changed.
- A previous annual service was completed in May 2023 at 6,531 miles by Porsche Group Operations Centre Reading, which included an engine oil change, an inspection, the brake fluid being changed, new spark plugs and air filter, the drive belt being replaced, and the tyre sealing compound being replaced.
- The first scheduled service was completed in May 2021 at 3,161 miles by Porsche Centre Hull, which included an engine oil change, an inspection, and the brake fluid being changed.
SUMMARY
This 991-generation Porsche 911 Speedster is a head-turning example of the rare open-top supercar, with its 503bhp flat-six motor dubbed “one of the greatest engines of our time” by Evo magazine. Number 305 of just 1,948 vehicles produced, it would make a striking addition to any collection, and is ready to thrill on the next owner’s favourite roads.
