The Appeal
If you want to learn how to maintain your own classic car, or simply desire your next project to be as simple as they come, the Series Land Rover is a wonderful place to start. Moreover, we've found a wonderful example for you to get stuck into. A great deal of work has already been completed getting this lovely 1959 Series II 88" on the road, while there are a few small jobs left to attend to. As the vendor puts it: "It’s a lovely vintage car that just needs a bit more work to finish it. She drives really well, but I just don’t have the time to use it regularly."
The Series II was produced for just three years between 1958 and 1961. This makes them considerably rarer than their Series IIA successor, which was built until the early '70s. As the photographs show, our Landy presents very well for its age and a vehicle of this type, exhibiting a nice patina without being overly worn. MOT/road tax exempt, it's ready for its next custodian.
