- Factory standard specification throughout
- Good documented service history
- MOT valid until November 2026
The Appeal
The X100 has become worthily celebrated as one of the finest of the modern Jags, and when production came to an end, it was commemorated in style with this - the 4.2S. It was quite the edition, with white badging, a 4.2-litre V8, 6-speed automatic transmission and an impressive selection of colour schemes. Only 187 4.2S models are known to have been built, and there are no concrete numbers of those with the rare £4000 carbon fibre dash and trim upgrade.
This 2005 example retains its factory specification with no aftermarket additions, and is a fine example, with plenty in its spec to turn heads and a commendably low mileage.
Key Information
- Mileage: 61,000 miles (indicated)
- Country of registration: United Kingdom
- Technical inspection status: MOT valid until November 2026
- Technical specs: 4,200cc V8 petrol, six-speed automatic
- Paperwork: Some invoices, original handbooks and manuals, MOT certificates
- Note: Vehicle was declared a Category D Insurance Loss in April 2013 - the vendor elaborates:
"In 2013, this car was involved in an accident involving minor frontal damage to the bumper, driver's headlight, and fog light. This resulted in the insurance company writing the vehicle off, and it received a cat D classification, which is now equivalent to a cat N. The cats were changed in 2017. It is non-structural, and the car has passed its MOT every year for the past 13 years with absolutely no issues. The repair was carried out using only OEM parts."

- 11/22 - 57,087 miles - H Wilson Cars
- 09/21 - Not recorded - TC Stevenson
- 02/13 - 51,892 miles - Charles Hurst
