The Appeal

The Bertone-penned 'step-nosed' cars are easily the most distinctive and attractive of the Alfa Romeo 105 series, and the GT Junior 1300 is a highly coveted, thoroughly revised little car, thanks in no small part to the sonorous much-loved twin-cam and rather delicate, balanced proportions. It's a highly rewarding, agile and eager car to drive and offers plenty of performance for the discerning driver.

This 1970 example wears its rare Pino Green paintwork over a tan vinyl interior, a combination that suits the car's personality beautifully. Rather than being subjected to an intrusive restoration, it has been carefully conserved, retaining much of its original character and patina. The engine and five-speed gearbox were both rebuilt in 2022, and the vendor describes the car as very enjoyable to drive: light, nimble, responsive and full of character. We'd say that this handsome car ticks all of the boxes.
