Overview
The Plus 4 occupies a rather special place in the Morgan lineup. Powered by the trusty 2.0-litre Ford Duratec four-cylinder, it's regarded as a classic car that delivers genuine driving engagement with the reliability of modern underpinnings.
The engine is friendly and tractable from 1,500rpm, understressed and reliable, yet it gives you 145bhp and 140lb ft through a five-speed manual gearbox in a car that weighs just 927kg. The result is a genuinely brisk machine: 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 118mph.
This particular car was first registered in March 2007 and has covered a mere 40,022 miles in the hands of just two owners. The current keeper purchased it from Morgan specialists Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds in September 2016 at 32,558 miles, and has enjoyed it for nearly a decade since. It's finished in Connaught Green with a Stone leather interior picked out in green piping, which is about as British as a specification gets.
Factory options add to the period charm, including wire wheels, a wood rim steering wheel, and a matching green mohair hood. There’s a stack of paperwork and even the original factory listing printout and paint colour swatch. If you’re after a summer runaround for the family, this looks like a compelling option.

Summary
With just two keepers from new, 40,022 miles on the clock, and an extensive paper trail stretching back to the factory, this Connaught Green Plus 4 is a lovely example of Morgan's wonderfully analogue four-seater.
It may look classic. But with its lightweight Duratec engine, rear-wheel drive chassis, and a kerb weight south of a tonne, it offers the sort of connected driving experience that never gets old.
