The Appeal
The Morris Minor Traveller is arguably the best of the Minors. With its versatile rear bay, estate-car styling and ever-attractive proportions, these handsome cars are distinguished by their signature ash-framed rear bodywork, conjuring up the traditional image of the 'Woody' and adding a uniquely traditional milieu to the car. The condition of the wood is often the making or breaking of a Traveller - so this one, having been fully renewed and regularly maintained, is bound to attract attention.
This 1971 example was comprehensively rebuilt in 2015 and has been regularly maintained since. Its handsome blue-grey livery, brightly kept woodwork and nicely trimmed cabin all make for a truly excellent example, and we're sure it'll attract plenty of interest at auction.
