- Handsome Antigua Blue livery
- In current ownership since May 2008
The Appeal
Potent, riotous and more than a little rebellious, the TVR Chimaera is not a car for the faint-of-heart. Weighing only 1060kg, it offered a power-to-weight ratio of roughly 302 bhp per tonne, and a top speed heading towards 170mph, all thanks to that 5.0-litre Rover-derived V8 inside the Chimaera's lithe, curvaceous bodywork.
This 1999 car comes to us from a much-cherished collection, and has clearly been very well looked after. With the Antigua Blue livery in fine order, the V8 still offering a sonorous soundtrack and the car accompanied by a collection of paperwork, we expect this Chimaera will tick plenty of boxes.
