The Appeal

Early XK8s are increasingly appreciated because of their innate ‘Jaguarness.’ Handsome, comfortable, quick and effortless in a way few GTs quite manage, these very usable V8 cars make very accessible and rewarding classics.

This early X100 is fitted with the 4L AJV8 engine and classically finished in Sherwood Green, a traditional Jaguar colour, with Cashmere leather. It has had just three keepers from new. The current one acquired it in 2014 from a friend who had owned it for 10 years.

This is a low-mileage, very well-kept XK8 with a large history file. The service book shows a run of mostly main dealer servicing up to November 2025. Further work in recent years has included attention to the brakes, suspension and electrics. The vendor reports that over £17,000 has been invested in the car. The current MOT runs to September 2026.

This is a tidy, usable XK8 that has clearly been cherished by its trio of keepers.
