Description
- The 4.2-S Special-Edition models unveiled at the 2005 Geneva International marked another advance for the Jaguar XK
- Available as either a Coupé or Convertible, with a choice of two V8 engines – one of them supercharged, just 200 examples were built
- They were offered in four new limited edition exterior colours, three interior colours, with two veneer options, all fitted with 20" BBS Perseus split-rim alloy wheels, with Brembo brakes on the supercharged car
- In recognition of Jaguar's racing heritage, the cars featured special badging and accents, polished door treadplates with chequered flag emblems and leather-edged embossed floor mats line the footwells
- Now in white, the Jaguar 'Growler' badge on the bonnet also displayed new chequered flag accents on the sides of the emblem
- Supplied new by Jaguar Ayr in 2005, this is an 'S' and is finished in Satin Silver over an Ivory leather interior with Elmwood veneers
- The registration number JW 55 XKR will remain assigned to the vehicle and does form part of the sale
- With just over 53,000 miles, this is a fine example of this rare and very limited edition XKR–S
