Description

KEY FACTS

  • This Jaguar XKR-S is a rare and potent British grand tourer, presented in unmodified condition and supplied with a strong service history.
  • It is powered by a 420bhp 4.2-litre AJ34S supercharged V8, driven through the rear wheels via a six-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle-shift.
  • In total, only 200 examples of the limited-run X150-generation XKR-S were produced, and it is thought that only 50 of those cars were right-hand drive.
  • All XKR-S featured an increased top speed limited to 174mph.
  • The odometer indicates 79,226 miles from new.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

  • Revealed at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, at the time the XKR-S was – with the exception of the XJ220 – Jaguar’s fastest-ever production car.
  • The main focus of the upgrade from the standard XKR was chassis tuning, which incorporated firmer springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, and a 10mm lower ride height. The steering was 10% quicker, and the brakes uprated to race-derived six-pot Alcon brake calipers at the front and four-pot items at the rear.
  • The car’s styling was enhanced by the addition of a tasteful body kit, which included a more assertive front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a ‘ducktail’ boot lid spoiler, all of which combined to vastly improve stability above 150mph.
  • As with every XKR-S of this generation, it is finished in Ultimate Black over a ‘Portfolio’ interior, trimmed in full black soft-grain leather upholstery with white accent stitching.
  • It rides on a model-exclusive set of 20-inch forged alloy wheels with bright red brake callipers behind, here they are fitted with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres.
  • Original equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with cleaning equipment, electrically adjustable and heated front seats with memory settings for both driver and passenger, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, heated electrically folding door mirrors, a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear screens, automatic rain sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry, a premium Bowers and Wilkins surround sound stereo system, and touch-screen satellite navigation.
  • Included with the car is a substantial history file, a stack of MOT certificates, the Jaguar handbooks and manuals, a replacement service book, the Jaguar instant mobility system, the factory trickle charger, a locking wheel nut key, and two keys.

CONDITION

  • Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
  • Specific notes from the seller include: In 2013, the front splitter was replaced by Marshalls Jaguar. Imperfections now include age-related stone chips on the front and two pin dents on the passenger door. Inside, there is fading on the driver’s seat bolster.
  • The most recent MOT test took place on 10 October 2025 at 79,213 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

  • The latest service was in August 2021 at 75,981 miles by Robinsons Motors – Bosch Service Centre, Sandwich, Kent. The work comprised an engine oil and filter change, along with transmission oil and filter, brake fluid, and differential oil replacement.
  • The seller also notes that additional work performed during most recent ownership includes October 2025, with air conditioning condenser replacement, re-gas, and new battery; and October 2024, with new front calipers, discs and pads, parking brake actuator and cables, and anti-roll bar links.
