The Appeal
The custom Volkswagen scene remains so strong that it's become increasingly rare to find an original, untouched Beetle. This 1971 car is one such example, offered in delightfully original order with an attractive age-commensurate patina.
DVLA data shows our 1300 has had just five former registered keepers. It was acquired from a retired Police Officer described as mechanically gifted, who kept the car garaged. The vendor states it drives well, handles well, and stops sharply, making it well suited to modern traffic. Crucially for any Beetle of this age, the underside is reported to be solid.
This looks to be a well-cared-for 1300 that, as the vendor puts it, brings a smile on every journey.
