KEY FACTS

  • A rare and collectible electric sports car, this is a Tesla Roadster Sport – understood to be one of just 250 examples built in this higher-performance specification, and believed to be among the final Roadsters produced.
  • It is powered by a 288bhp electric motor driving the rear wheels through a single-speed automatic transmission, enabling a 0-60mph sprint in just 3.7 seconds.
  • First registered in Japan, it was recently imported into the UK, where all VAT and duties have been paid. It is currently unregistered but is supplied with a Certificate of Conformity from Tesla for easy registration in the UK or other European countries.
  • This left-hand drive Roadster Sport is believed to be one of only 69 examples specified in Brilliant Yellow.
  • The odometer shows just 2,276 miles from new.
  • Please note: this is a VAT-qualifying / tax-deductible vehicle for those who are able to reclaim it. This means that the ‘hammer price’ includes VAT, and the winning bidder will be provided with a VAT invoice.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

  • The Sport model features a power increase from 248bhp to 288bhp, plus an upgraded AP Racing braking system and 10-way adjustable suspension.
  • This Roadster is finished in the eye-catching shade of Brilliant Yellow with a contrasting carbon-fibre upper front bonnet section, rear roof bar, front splitter, and rear spoiler, as well as a black fabric targa roof panel.
  • Inside, the cabin features Black and Executive Yellow leather upholstery with embroidered ‘Tesla’ logos on the seat backs, and satin-silver, brushed aluminium, and carbon-fibre trim.
  • It rides on a set of staggered 16-inch front and 17-inch rear seven-spoke alloy wheels finished in gloss-black, fitted with Yokohama Advan Neova tyres.
  • Equipment includes a reversing camera, a Momo steering wheel, switchable traction control, two-stage heated seats, air conditioning, and an Alpine double-DIN media system with satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
  • The car is supplied with its original aluminium Tesla handbook, the Roadster-specific literature, the Japanese export certificate, an MOT certificate, the stamped Japanese service booklet, a selection of Japanese Shaken reports, and two original remote keys.
  • Also included are a three-pin 3kW home charging cable and a newly fitted 12-volt lithium starting battery.
