The Appeal
The Daimler V8 250 married Edward Turner's silky 2.5-litre V8 with the elegant Jaguar Mark 2 bodyshell. Quieter and more refined than its Jaguar sibling, the resulting car continues to be cherished for its effortless character and understated charm - a real gentleman's express in the truest sense, packed with a uniquely British milieu.
This 1969 example has benefited from considerable investment in recent years. The bodywork was repainted approximately five years ago and still looks in fine order. Inside, the car has been fully re-trimmed with new seats, door cards and carpets, while the dashboard has been refurbished with chrome instrument bezels and new wood trims.
Mechanically, the car has received a thorough overhaul encompassing the braking system, exhaust, fuel system and electrical components. It's a fabulous car through-and-through, ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
