Description

Highlights

  • Garage stored with the underside waxed for preservation
  • The vendor reports the bodywork and interior are in good condition
  • History file with garage bills dating back to 1990

The Appeal

Characterful, lightweight and perky, there's a real character to the Sprite that manages to eke out in the somewhat overpopulated golden age for the Great British Sports Car. Austin-Healey focused on its austerity, and the pipe-smoking bods at the top famously claimed it was a car 'some chap could keep in their bike shed'.

This Sprite has been garage stored and presents well, with an age-commensurate character and a very original interior. Accompanied by garage bills dating back to 1990 including an MOT and tax disc from that period, this handsome little roadster is sure to appeal.
