Description
KEY FACTS
- This Noble M12 GTO-3R is a rare British sports car, fitted with some appealing modifications and offered with low mileage.
- It is powered by a mid-rear mounted twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre Ford Duratec V6, which has been remapped to produce 397bhp on low boost and 502bhp on high boost. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and Quaife torque-biasing differential.
- First registered in May 2004, this M12 GTO-3R has been with its current and second owner since August 2018.
- The odometer shows 24,742 miles.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
- While the Noble is rightly regarded for its handling, its outright pace is also seriously impressive. With a stated kerb weight of just 1,080kg, the GTO-3R’s quoted 0-60mph time is just 3.7 seconds, and Road & Track magazine timed it as being even quicker.
- This M12 was specified with blue paint, over a two-tone black and grey leather-trimmed interior with ‘Noble’ lettering on the head restraints.
- It rides on a set of 18-inch ten-spoke Braid FlowForming alloy wheels, which are fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
- Factory and aftermarket equipment includes a Quaife torque-biasing differential, a baffled sump, a Pro Alloy intercooler, a Piper performance exhaust, air conditioning, an alarm system, a carbon fibre-trimmed steering wheel, Willans safety harnesses, a Sony stereo and air conditioning.
- The car has been remapped to produce 397bhp on low boost and 502bhp on high boost.
- It also features a Piper performance exhaust and a Pro Alloy intercooler.
- The car will be supplied with its original bill of sale, the owner’s manuals and service record, and a file of maintenance invoices.
CONDITION
- Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition.
- Specific notes from the seller include: Overall, the car presents well for its age and mileage, with only light wear and minor cosmetic marks. These include minor chips on the rear clamshell; some light paint scratches / marks on the offside rear wheel arch; some wear on the driver’s seat bolsters; grease weeps from the offside CV joint boot; minor residue visible around the front coolant pipe joints; the handbrake is very light; two small chips on the windscreen.
- The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 6 August 2024 at 24,735 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no advisories.
SERVICE HISTORY
- The most recent service was completed in August 2023 at 24,727 miles, where Rallysport Automotive replaced the engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs, brake fluid and gearbox oil.
- During the seller’s ownership the car has also benefitted from a new fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filter, oil separator/breather, engine undertray, and battery. The alloy wheels have also been refurbished and fresh tyres have been fitted, and the K&N filters have been cleaned and re-oiled.
