The Appeal
Range Rover Classic enthusiasts will have already spotted that this is something quite out of the ordinary. While the earliest Range Rovers were all three-door with manual gearboxes, this configuration became far rarer once the practical four-door bodyshell and easy-to-use automatic gearboxes were introduced. By the late '80s, such a car was almost unheard of. That makes this 1988 example very special indeed. A factory three-door Range Rover Classic with the desirable 3.9 EFI Rover V8 and a five-speed manual gearbox - a considerable upgrade over its 3.5-litre, four-speed manual forbearers.
This example was sourced from Dubai, where the dry climate appears to have served it incredibly well. Following a significant investment in refurbishment, all required maintenance work is said to have been completed. The car's underside is particularly clean, so we urge you to examine the photographs. The vendor describes it as presenting and driving as it should, and the Range Rover looks ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
