The Appeal
The Saab 900 T16 Convertible combines the 900’s distinctive styling with turbocharged performance and open-top motoring. Manual examples are well regarded, while the Airflow body styling adds a period-correct visual touch. We’re told this example has been regularly maintained and used two or three times each week during the seller’s ownership.
It also benefits from a replacement gearbox, with a respray and replacement bonnet reportedly carried out around 2022. The seller openly notes paint bubbling on the boot, a slight crack in the bumper, age-related wear inside, and an issue affecting the rear nearside window support strut and roof attachment on that side. Supplied with most of its service history and a current MOT until 16 October 2027, it appears to be a usable Saab convertible for ongoing enjoyment.
