The Appeal
The X358-generation Jaguar XJR was the final chapter of the aluminium-bodied, supercharged XJ lineage - a car that blends traditional Jaguar refinement with genuine performance from its 4.2-litre V8. These cars are increasingly appreciated for their combination of pace, comfort, and understated presence, and gained a genuine international appeal - Japan were particularly fond of them, and ex-Japanese examples have become increasingly popular; after all, there's no salt on the roads over there!
This particular XJR was repatriated from Japan and purchased by the current owner in 2019, who has since used it as a daily driver and kept it regularly serviced. The paintwork has been ceramic coated and we're told that the car is running as well as ever it was. A private registration plate is included in the sale, and the MOT is valid until April 2027.
