The Appeal

Blending the sporting character of its predecessors with greater comfort and refinement, the Datsun 280ZX took on the saturated Sports Coupe market with remarkable confidence and even more remarkable grace. Bigger, plusher, and packed with features, it sat more in comfortable cruiser territory than a hard-edged track machine.

This 1981 example was imported from South Africa, where it was purchased from a long-term owner. That provenance is good news for any classic car collector, as the drier climate tends to be kinder to bodywork!
Since arriving in the UK, the car has been registered on UK plates and has benefited from an engine service, new rear brake pads, and new tyres. The vendor tells us that the car drives very nicely and is ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
