  • Early-series model with chrome bumpers

The Appeal

The early Alfetta GTV 2.0 was a masterclass in handling. This could be attributed to the rear-mounted transaxle and de Dion suspension delivering near-perfect weight distribution, which really helped the car stick to the road like glue and react beautifully to the driver's input. This would be more than enough to make an instant classic, but then we get to cast eyes on Giugiaro's wedge-shaped styling. The Alfetta is loaded with futurist character, and has aged remarkably well.

This right-hand-drive example spent its early life in South Africa's dry climate before being registered in the UK in 2022. Since then, it has received a significant mechanical overhaul covering the fuel system, ignition, braking, and clutch hydraulics, all sourced from respected specialists.
Presented as a fine base for restoration, this car requires a little work and a trailer, but is sure to be a very rewarding project. The Alfetta has never been more desirable, and this is the perfect chance to take one under your wing.
