The Appeal
Right-hand drive Fiat 500s are rare. Those that did come to Great Britain quickly usually succumbed to rot and were simply thrown away. That makes survivors like this 1969 500 F very special indeed. Produced from 1965 to 1972, the F-series refined Dante Giacosa's original Nuova 500 design with conventionally hinged doors and improved trim, and it remains the definitive version of this beloved Italian microcar.
Our car is reported to have undergone restoration work around 2018–2019, though the vendor notes that full details of the work carried out are not available beyond some photographs. It has been kept in dry storage, and the vendor states it is a joy to drive and a consistent attention-grabber wherever it goes.
