Overview
The Mk2 Focus RS arrived in 2009 as the wildest hot Ford of its era, a 2.5-litre turbocharged -cylinder sending 305bhp to the front wheels. Ford's clever RevoKnuckle front suspension and a Quaife limited-slip differential turned all that power into proper cross-country pace, and Performance Blue became its signature shade. It's rightly regarded as one of the great modern fast Fords.
This is a genuine standard-tune car in that iconic Performance Blue, and that matters. Plenty of surviving Mk2 RS have been chipped, modified or kept as garage queens. A fresh, unmodified example that's ready to drive and enjoy is a rare and welcome thing.
The mechanical side has been freshened where it counts, with a recent timing belt, water pump and full service. New front coil springs and a fresh front hub and bearing have gone in too. Best of all, the celebrated RevoKnuckle front end has been tightened with a quality handling package, so it feels crisp and planted.
The upshot is a Mk2 RS you can jump into and use as Ford intended, honest, standard-tune and mechanically sorted. Cars this usable and this true to the original spec don't come along often.

Summary
In short, this is a freshly serviced, mechanically sorted Mk2 Focus RS in iconic Performance Blue. It runs the genuine standard-tune 305bhp five-cylinder with a sharpened front end. Buy it on those merits, because the big-ticket mechanical work is already done and the handling is tightened up, leaving a car that's ready to drive and enjoy now. The documented service and maintenance history simply backs up a car that's been used and cared for as these were meant to be.
