The Appeal

The Jensen Healey Mark 1 was a novel concept, combining Jensen's flair for design and motor body building with the racing pedigree of Lotus.
This 1973 example is an exciting find for its possible heritage as an ex-demonstration vehicle, evidenced by its 'EA' registration plate from the West Bromwich area that appears in current Jensen publications.
Since 2019, the current owner has invested significantly in mechanical restoration and maintenance, ensuring this classic performs as well as it presents. With a heritage certificate, factory build sheet, and specialist assessment confirming its good condition, this Jensen Healey offers an opportunity to own a well-documented and meticulously maintained piece of British motoring history.
The vendor says:
"This is the first Jensen Healey I have owned, and I wanted to restore it as best as I could to its original factory spec and believe I have achieved this. This year, a Jensen Specialist was in the area to purchase a Jensen Interceptor and came in to inspect my car. He told me the car was in very good condition and believed that this particular car may have been an ex-demo, as the registration plate 'EA' was used in the West Bromwich area. And many of the current publications regarding Jensens showed the 'EA' number."
