Description
- Codenamed AM310, the second-generation Vanquish combined a lightweight full carbon fibre body and bonded aluminium VH chassis, with a heavily upgraded version of Aston Martin’s AM28 V12
- Motivation was provided by a 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 offering 565bhp and 457lb/ft of torque enabling 0-62 in 4.1 seconds and 183mph
- First registered on 15/04/2013, this example is finished in Quantum Silver and has covered just over 33,000 miles
- Presented with unmarked 20-inch ten-spoke flow cast alloy wheels in silver finish, the exterior is complemented by chrome side strakes, bright tailpipe finishers, Bi-Xenon headlights and the distinctive Vanquish styling. The vendor notes only slight wear to the driver’s seat
- The cabin combines contemporary Alcantara trim with a full-length Piano Black facia, heated and electrically operated memory front seats, Iridium detailing and the highly desirable Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system. Modern usability is further enhanced by Apple CarPlay, alongside Bluetooth, iPod/iPhone integration and USB playback
- A comprehensive specification includes Adaptive Damping System with Sport Mode, Dynamic Stability Control with Track Mode, Launch Control, front and rear parking sensors, satellite navigation, cruise control, heated seats, tyre-pressure monitoring and a tracking device, making this a particularly well-equipped example
- Listed on HPI as Category N, the vendor advises that this was solely the result of a broken rear light, which has since been replaced. They further advise that there was no other damage to the car, with the carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser and mirror stalks all remaining unmarked
- With its combination of Quantum Silver coachwork, Aston Martin’s charismatic V12 character, extensive factory specification, unmarked carbon fibre detailing and modern infotainment upgrades, this Vanquish represents an appealing opportunity to acquire one of the marque’s most distinctive modern grand tourers
