The Appeal

The C219 CLS is credited with inventing the idea of a four door coupe, but classic fans know that accolade really belongs to Rover’s P5B. Yet it was the Mercedes that popularised it, giving buyers a stylish car with a svelte profile that has been hugely influential across the firm’s own range and its rivals'.
