The Appeal

In the mid-1990s, if you wanted the ultimate Rolls-Royce saloon, then you wanted a LWB Spur. Until, that is, the Silver Dawn arrived. Based on the Spur but with traction control, a host of extra options and a redesigned low-level front end, just 237 of these extremely expensive cars left the works, of which just 87 were RHD examples like this one.

Finished in fetching Wildberry metallic with sumptuous Magnolia and Mulberry interior, this is a really nice example of these elevated saloons. It has covered less than 53,000 miles from new and the condition is a testament to its trio of keepers.

Despite the sparing use, it has been extensively serviced and maintained. There is a run of 24 stamps in the service book featuring leading marque specialists like Frank Dale & Stepsons, Charles Hurst and H R Owen. The last service was at 52,333 miles by Frank Dale in September 2024 and the car is now showing 52,784 miles. In recent years over £14,000 has been invested in the maintenance.

With its magnificent cabin, featuring quality hides and extensive inlaid veneers, plus that regal colour scheme, this must be one of the most honest examples of a Silver Dawn on the market. It comes with the added reassurance of an advisory-free MOT to October 2025.
