The Appeal
The Dax Cobra is the stuff of legend - one of the best-respected recreations of the legendary Shelby Cobra, offering thunderous performance with classic styling, ready and waiting for the track with an irrevocably attractive character. This example is a worthy prospect for any enthusiast, having been constructed by DB Replicas in 2003 using a body and chassis supplied by DJ Sportscars (Dax).
Practically fresh from the line, this car was barely used, and was acquired by the second owner with only 190 miles on the clock. In 2010, it received a significant performance upgrade with the installation of a 400Ci V8 Dart SHP block, complemented by a comprehensive body strip and professional repaint by Sovereign Coachworks in 2009.
Now, it's ready and waiting for its new owner, who we've no doubt will find it a remarkable addition to their home fleet.

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
