Description
- The early second-generation Pontiac Firebird, often referred to as the ‘bullnose’ model, was built from 1970 to 1973 and remains a sought-after American muscle car thanks to its split-grille Endura front bumper and pointed nose treatment
- Registered in 1971, this example was imported in 1978 and benefits from long-term ownership, having been with its current keeper since 2001
- Finished in Copper Gold paintwork which was subject to a respray in 2018, over a cream interior along with the fitment of new carpets and headlining
- Power comes from a 5.7-litre V8, offering the sort of straightforward muscle car character for which these early second-generation Firebirds are well known
- The car was restored in 2018, refreshing and preserving the appeal of this desirable early ‘bullnose’ Firebird, though some finishing touches are still needed (detailed in condition report)
- Combining early second-generation styling, V8 power and long-term ownership, this 1971 Pontiac Firebird offers an appealing opportunity for any enthusiast of period American muscle
- Offered without reserve
