Overview
Tiger Sportscars has been building lightweight, Seven-style sports-racers in Britain for decades, and the R10 sits proudly among them. It's a purposeful, back-to-basics take on the classic front-engined, rear-drive roadster, designed around a stiff spaceframe and a featherweight body. Cars like this exist for one reason, and it's the reason you've clicked through: the drive.
This particular R10 is a proper little firecracker. At its heart sits a 2.0-litre Ford Duratec running on individual throttle bodies, which produces around 222bhp and was rolling-road tested at Northampton Motorsport. Wrap that in a body the vendor states weighs roughly 570 kg, and you've got the sort of power-to-weight that reshapes a B-road.
What really sets it apart is how sorted it feels. This is no weekend science project; it's a properly developed, dependable machine that's as happy threading the lanes as it is lapping a circuit. Reassuringly, it was built and largely looked after by Tiger Racing themselves.
Finished in white and specified with real care, it presents in excellent condition throughout. Cars this characterful and this focused don't come along often, and this is a cracking example.
