Description
Background.
Introduced in 2018 to replace the outgoing Vanquish S as the company's top-of-the-range supercar, the DBS Superleggera returned Aston Martin’s iconic DBS nameplate to the top of the marque’s road car range. Positioned above the DB11, the DBS Superleggera blended muscular styling with understated luxury and quickly established itself as one of the most complete high-performance GT cars of its era.
It's powered by Aston's 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 developing 715bhp, with 664lb/ft of torque available from 1,800 to 5,000rpm. Mounted low down and as far back in the chassis as practicable for optimum balance, this state-of-the-art V12 drives via a new ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox with lower overall gearing than the DB11 for better acceleration. The transmission also features torque vectoring and a mechanical limited-slip differential and revised engine management offered three driving modes, GT, Sport and Sport Plus.
The Superleggera also features Aston Martin's innovative 'Aeroblade' aerodynamic system, first seen on the DB11, which channels air through internal ducts rather than relying on a large and unsightly rear wing. On the Superleggera this is complemented by an F1-style double diffuser for even more downforce. Increased use of carbon fibre reduced the Superleggera's weight, while a new four-pipe titanium exhaust system provides a legendary soundtrack. In terms of its performance, the DBS Superleggera is in the front rank of contemporary supercars, boasting 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds on its way to 211mph.
The Car.
This stunning example dates from 2019 and is finished in Mariana Blue Metallic. Despite the fact that the DBS is highly specified as standard, the car's first owner managed to tick the factory options list to the tune of over £24,000 including a selection of 'Q by Aston Martin' carbon fibre upgrades. Exterior Q carbon fibre options include Q Gloss 2 x 2 twill carbon fibre front splitter and diffuser, Q carbon fibre bonnet vents, Q carbon fibre side louvres and a gloss carbon fibre roof.
Inside, the cabin is finished in Obsidian Black leather with contrast stitching and welt, complemented by Satin 2 x 2 twill carbon fibre interior inlays and a Tailors Grey Alcantara headlining. Additional specification includes Sports Plus heated seats, the interior jewellery pack in Satin Silver and DBS embroidered detailing throughout. Further equipment includes carbon ceramic brakes with red calipers, a 360-degree camera system, Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring and Aston Martin Premium Audio. We understand that the original Bill of Sale showed a purchase price of £249,140.
The Aston has subsequently been treated to a full body Paint Protection Film and the superb condition of the paintwork reflects the level of care and attention the car has received throughout its ownership. The mileage reflects genuine Grand Touring use, exactly as the DBS Superleggera was engineered to deliver, and rather than remaining unused in a collection, this example has been regularly driven, correctly maintained and received investment when required throughout its life, supporting both its condition and mechanical integrity.
The current indicated mileage of just under 62,000 is supported by a full Aston Martin main dealer service history as below
• 10/12/2019 – 3,745 miles
• 27/11/2020 – 5,045 miles
• 08/12/2021 – 10,725 miles
• 17/11/2022 – 10,767 miles
• 18/09/2023 – 22,712 miles
• 15/05/2024 – 32,917 miles
• 11/09/2025 – 55,373 miles
• 24/02/2026 – 61,283 miles
In addition to routine servicing, the car has benefitted from documented maintenance expenditure over the years, demonstrating proactive ownership and continued upkeep with full details in the Owner's File.
This DBS Superleggera represents an opportunity to acquire a highly specified, Q-enhanced Aston Martin with full Paint Protection Film, a complete Aston Martin main dealer service history and extensive factory carbon fibre options. Combining exceptional performance with genuine usability, it's a well maintained and thoughtfully specified example of Aston Martin’s flagship Grand Tourer.

Reviving a famous model name from Aston Martin's past, the DBS was based on the DB9 . Before the DBS entered production, the world got a mouth-watering preview when one appeared in the film Casino Royale (2006), Daniel Craig's debut in the role of James Bond. The DBS also appeared in the opening sequence of Quantum of Solace, the follow up film released in 2008. When the model was re-launched as the DBS Superleggera in 2018, it too would soon gain the evocative 'James Bond' credentials, featuring in Daniel Craig's last outing as 007: No Time to Die(2020).
Taking its name from CarrozzeriaTouring's bodywork featured on the DB4 and DB5 of the 1960s, the DBS Superleggera is based on the DB11. According to company EVP and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman: "We wanted to create a car that combined cutting edge aerodynamics with the classic muscularity and presence for which our most potent series production models are renowned." Curiously, the 'Superleggera' name was dropped after 2021, the car reverting to just plain 'DBS' thereafter.
