Overview
Didn't we all want a monster truck growing up? A larger than life, drive anywhere behemoth to command the road, or just about any other place you cared to take it? Well, unless you're actually a professional monster truck driver and no doubt living in the United States – the home of grand excesses – then the closest you're likely to come is something like this rather excellent and far more practical Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian.
Fully kitted out as a go-anywhere, do-anything rig this 2018, fifth-generation L200 comes to market with a whole host of exterior, interior and performance upgrades. Originally released in 2015, the fifth-gen L200 was already a hugely capable and rightfully revered machine that significantly improved upon its predecessor in pretty much every way.
Available with a range of robust four-cylinder engines the L200 remains a rugged and reliable off-roader that commands respect and the Barbarian package further enhances matters with the addition of a dedicated off-road mode as well as numerous interior and exterior improvements. Yes it's incredibly adept on the rough stuff but it also has impeccable road manners, too, making it a truly versatile beast.
Take one look at this Barbarian though and its intended purpose becomes instantly apparent. With its lifted suspension, winch kit, Safari snorkel and roof rack with light bar this L200 certainly means business. The full list of mods can be found below but suffice to say if you're after an off-road adventure vehicle that can cut the mustard with the best of them then this could very well be the truck for you. Coming to market in excellent overall condition and with main dealer service history this 2.4-litre turbo-diesel Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian has a lot to say.

Summary
Feeling very Mad Max in its all black colourway this practical, stylish and well specified double cab Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian looks ready for the apocalypse and would very much be the steed of choice for many if a dystopian future timeline were to play out. Failing that, it would still make an excellent adventure vehicle for those looking to head into the wilderness whilst retaining enough creature comforts to make any such excursion all the more enjoyable.
