The Appeal
'68 marked the dawn of the C3 Corvette. This third generation of the Corvette was a bold car through and through, quintessentially American. Nothing about the C3 is subtle - it's bold, loud, brash and muscular. Examples equipped with the mighty 427 cubic-inch Big Block remain among the most sought-after of all American sports cars. Paired here with a four-speed manual gearbox and a matching numbers engine, it's a deeply unspoilt example of Bill Mitchell's legendary, coke-bottle-styled car.
This particular car has seen considerable investment during its current five-year ownership, with over £37,000 spent on mechanical and cosmetic work. Having been in the UK since the early 1990s and first registered here in 1988, this Corvette comes with a large history file and was purchased through the well-known specialist Dromey Corvettes in 2021.
Beautifully presented and ready to thrill its lucky new keeper, this Corvette is an excellent opportunity.
