The Appeal

The W116 catapulted Mercedes-Benz into a sort of cult following. This was the German marque offering executive saloons during a golden age - a smart, sophisticated machine that was remarkably engineered. It wasn't built to be the fastest or most luxurious saloon on the market, but it was undeniably the most solid and practical.
They quickly began eating up the miles in a big way. The W116 is undeniably one of the most enduring classics of its age, and it's for excellent reason.
Having been with only one previous owner, this 350 SE has clearly been cherished throughout its life. The vendor acquired the in 2021, and has reportedly driven it less than 100 miles since purchase. It's mechanically standard, with a true time-capsule cabin, and is ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
