The Appeal

The McLaren 650S is a deeply attractive machine, proudly positioned in the Woking marque's lineage and proudly bridging the gap between the MP4-12C and the mighty P1 hypercar. Borrowing its front-end styling and aerodynamic philosophy directly from the P1, and packing 641 bhp from its 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the 650S delivers a visceral driving experience underpinned by McLaren's carbon-fibre MonoCell chassis and ProActive Chassis Control suspension - a car that flatters on the road and thrills on the track in equal measure.

This 2014 Coupé is a UK-supplied, right-hand-drive example with 33,200 miles on the odometer. This slow-slung, slicked-back supercar is presented in McLaren's signature Tarocco Orange Elite livery, a colour synonymous with the brand and one that suits the 650S's dramatic lines particularly well.
Accompanied by extensive McLaren and specialist service history to August 2026, and an advisory-free MOT until August 2027, this car ticks all of the boxes - an excellent candidate for any petrolhead's garage.

The 650S looks fast even when stood still, and with its striking Tarocco Orange Elite livery, it's certainly impossible to ignore. Beautifully picked out with carbon fibre elements inside and out, everything about this example appears to be in good order. The vendor proudly notes the condition of the bodywork and the very well-kept cabin, reflecting its low mileage and regular service schedule.
We're told that all of the instruments, options and features are in good working order, and that everything is ready and waiting to go.

The Mechanics

  • 3.8-litre (3,799cc) twin-turbocharged V8 producing 641 bhp at 7,250 RPM and 500 lb-ft at 6,000 RPM
  • 7-speed Seamless Shift dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters
  • Rear-wheel drive
  • Carbon-fibre MonoCell chassis
  • ProActive Chassis Control hydropneumatic suspension
  • Carbon-ceramic brakes with black callipers
  • Active rear airbrake
  • Sports Exhaust fitted

Thanks to its remarkably light MonoCell chassis and the massive twin-turbo block under the bonnet, the 650S is brutally fast on its feet and more than capable of stirring the soul. 641bhp, a top speed in excess of 200mph - this is the sort of machine that results in pure theatre on the road.
This example has been regularly maintained and serviced, with the engine bay in excellent order and, we're told, the car driving exactly as it should.
