The Appeal
Gaining a reputation for fuss-free running and a legendary stoicism, the Rover P4 was declared 'The Auntie Rover' for its purely unflappable nature. These cars were well-built, luxurious and capable, and soon hit the market in all manner of capacities - including a couple of gas turbine tests. This was a truly rock-solid day-to-day car for royalty, for the executive and - of course - the well-to-do.
This particular 1956 example stands out as a particularly rare, handsome survivor, featuring the car's rare flat-panel front combined with the later rear light setup. Having undergone significant structural restoration while maintaining its period charm, this has proven a very capable classic while in its current ownership, and is now ready and waiting for its lucky new owner.
