The Appeal
The X358 was the final evolution of the aluminium-bodied XJ saloon before Jaguar moved to an entirely new platform. With its naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 and six-speed automatic transmission, these elegant saloons offered a refined blend of performance and luxury that many enthusiasts regard as the pinnacle of traditional Jaguar saloon design - to this day, it's a much-loved machine, and compared to the marque's latest innovations, is quite the tonic...
This 2009 example was sourced from Japan, where it benefited from the country's rigorous mandatory inspection regime. Since arriving in the UK and being registered on UK plates, it has been serviced at each MOT and currently holds a certificate valid until July 2027.
A beautifully finished, very well cared for car - ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
