The Appeal
If you're a fan of mid-century American automotive design, you're going to love this 1955 Dodge Coronet.
Featuring sweeping lines, generous chrome detailing, and the characterful 270ci Red Ram V8: Dodge's first-generation hemi-head engine, this car has it all. A s dash-mounted gear selector and full whitewall tyres complete the picture. The Coronet offers a distinctly period driving experience.
Our example, finished in Chiffon green, has spent its life as a one-family car in Pennsylvania before being recently imported and registered in the UK. The vendor reports great bodywork and a completely solid underside and states that the chrome and stainless steel trim is in very good order. Inside, the interior is said to be original, with the dash, dials, steering wheel, and metal window frames all looking well-preserved.
Recently detailed, serviced, and with a piece of trim replaced and wheels freshly painted, this Coronet appears well cared-for and ready to enjoy. Extensive accompanying paperwork, including invoices and original registration documents from the previous owner, adds to the provenance.
