The Appeal

The Citroën Dyane was introduced in 1967 as a more sophisticated alternative to the iconic 2CV, offering more comfort and practicality while retaining the charming simplicity of its sibling. As history books tell us, it's hard to unseat an icon, and the 2CV outlived it impressively - but don't let that discredit the Dyane. From the day it was introduced to its final exit from the line in 1983, it was a fine seller, and undeniably beloved across Europe.
This 1969 Dyane 4 Luxe is a vanishingly scarce "six window" model in the "Luxe" specification - a configuration that was only produced for a mere five months. As one of only two known examples of this specific model in the UK, it's an achingly rare classic that we expect to garner plenty of well-deserved interest.

The unrestored body appears in smart condition for its age, and is complemented by its original orange fabric seating and rare light grey 'fablon' door cards. Following a comprehensive mechanical rebuild by marque specialist Pete Sparrow in 2017, this Dyane is in fine order and is ready and waiting for its new owner.
