  • Described as all original throughout
  • Reported to be fully working and driving well
  • Resprayed in the original colour in 1994

The Appeal

The Ford Zodiac MK2 sat at the top of Ford's British range in the late 1950s, offering six-cylinder refinement and American-influenced styling in a generously proportioned saloon. With its bold grille, two-tone potential, and comfortable cruising ability, the MK2 Zodiac remains one of the most desirable Fords of its era.

This 1959 example has been in the care of its current keeper since 1994 and is described as all original throughout. Resprayed in its original colour shortly after acquisition, it is reported to still be driving well, with the vendor stating that all mechanical components are working as they should. Some welding is needed underneath, as identified by a recent MOT test fail, along with attention to the passenger door and seat repairs.
For a new custodian willing to invest some sympathetic restoration work, this long-term-ownership Zodiac represents a sound and largely original starting point.
The vendor says:
"We have had the car since 1994. Still going strong. Love the car, just going abroad and would like someone to buy and fix it to its original glory and send us photos as the family is very attached to it."
