The Appeal

The C6-generation Audi RS6 is a masterstroke - powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V10 with roots shared with the Lamborghini Gallardo, it's amongst the most formidable modern classics out there - certainly one of the most formidable saloons. It's a unique position in the market, and with 571hp on tap, it can can achieve a remarkable 0-60 in in 4.6 seconds, ably assisted by that legendary Quattro all-wheel drive.

This example was purchased new from Lincoln Audi in June 2009 and has remained in the same hands ever since. It is unmodified, and very nicely presented. The underside is reported to be clean, and all switches and gauges are said to be functioning correctly. The car was SORN and stored for a period due to the owner's ill health, and has recently been prepared for a return to the road.
